Just a week apart, but miles away in tone and substance. The visits to China by the American and Russian presidents have showcased not only the drastic difference in political culture but also the remarkable contrast in the notions of bilateral relationships and the common good among the world’s three great powers. What does this triangular relationship entail for the rest of the globe? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Patrick Hennigsen, a writer and global affairs analyst.

‘The Depression of the1930s: We were in bread lines, begging for work. Is it worth repeating that to defend Bibi?’ – former British Parliament member George Galloway.

On the latest episode of ‘Sanchez Effect’ legendary political figure George Galloway issues a chilling warning about escalating Middle East tensions, predicting an immediate global economic depression if Iran is driven to shut down critical maritime trade routes. Forget 10 dollars a gallon – that would mean NO oil, no fertilizers, and the collapse of economic activity across the world.

The former lawmaker pulls no punches when it comes to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, mocking the hypocrisy of buying back-door Russian oil through India at triple the price while slashing domestic pensions to fund foreign conflicts. Drawing on his 50-year career, Galloway contrasts today’s corrupt, ‘Epstein-class’ politicians with giants of the past. He praises Russia’s societal resurgence under Vladimir Putin and details how Western sanctions completely backfired on their own populations.

Meanwhile, Rick digs into the US media’s obsession with ‘Russiagate’ as it chooses silence in the face of Israel’s blatant campaign interference against unbought US politicians like Thomas Massie. Hypocrisy at its finest?

‘The difference between the US- Chinese and Russian-Chinese relationships is that we talk about equal stability and respectful dialogue. But the US cannot stand this. The US can only insist on hegemony’ – Sergey Sanakoev.

As Putin’s milestone trip to Beijing wraps up, this episode of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect’ puts the summit under a microscope, bringing in the president of Russia’s Asia Pacific research center, Sergey Sanakoev, for some expert insight. Rick was surprised that Russia and China signed over 40 documents during the two-day summit. Sanakoev keeps those surprises coming, telling us that the countries sign the same amount every single year. He also didn’t mince words about Donald Trump’s visit to Beijing a week prior, calling the American delegation shockingly unqualified. Sanakoev says Washington had no leverage to dictate terms to China after failing in Iran.

We dive deep into the recent release of UAP files and ask the critical question: why have top scientists connected to alternative energy and anti-gravity research been disappearing since the Roswell crash?

Is the government using a “slow-release” disclosure strategy to prevent mass panic, or is the military-industrial complex protecting the ultimate global asset – reverse-engineered technology?

What happens if the technologies hidden behind these programs could change energy, warfare, and global power forever?

We also look at how modern warfare has shifted away from traditional country-versus-country conflicts into a sophisticated system of psychological operations, media control, and energy dependency designed to maintain the status quo.

In this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, Rick talks to former CIA analyst Ray McGovern. Rick was fascinated to see many experts like Scott Ritter and Daniel Davis saying that Russia is about to retaliate in response to the massive EU-backed Ukrainian drone raids. But Ray remains skeptical, he says that Putin is very “cool” and can’t be provoked. He insists that he doesn’t see Russia escalating while winning on the ground in Ukraine. McGovern says that Putin is confident that the European people won’t allow their unpopular leaders to spark a major conflict against Russia. Ray also shares his experience of briefing US Presidents - adding that Israeli influence was already causing trouble for Washington in 20th century. Yet a serious critique of these policies has shown that very often, corporations benefit from them. So, does America First have a vision that incorporates green policies while also keeping in mind the working class?
In this episode of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect’ former CIA analyst John Kiriakou and host of RT’s ‘Deep State’ shares how one of the strongest spy agencies of the world abuses its power... to get rich. Examples exist like civil wars in Latin America that Kiriakou says were ignited by the CIA to economically benefit from the suffering of locals. What about inexperienced presidents such as Barack Obama, well, according to Kiriakou, that’s who the spy agencies really like, revealing how long-standing bureaucrats use them to promote their own interests all while the CIA spies on its own citizens.
‘The Lesson the US is teaching the world is you must have nuclear weapons to be safe. We have given Poland, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and everyone else every reason to have them’ – University of Chicago Professor Robert Pape.

On the latest episode of ‘Sanchez Effect,’ Professor Pape unpacks the shadowy implications of the US-Israeli war on Iran. The rules of engagement have shifted – nuclear deterrence wasn’t previously essential; now, amid Trump’s recklessness, it’s a case of “better safe than sorry.”

Pape paints a grim picture for those in Washington who might be banking on a swift victory. Iran, he predicts, is set to emerge as a formidable power, becoming the fourth global center of influence – alongside the US, Russia and China – and challenging Israel’s regional aspirations.

The professor says Iran will maintain its control over the Strait of Hormuz – and that means oil prices above $100 a barrel for months to come. He argues that since World War Two, Iran, with its massive population and strategic resources, has been America’s strongest enemy – outshining even Vietnam. Iran is Trump’s Mount Everest, and the climb is far from smooth.

Rick notes that Trump’s usual bullying tactics worked against the EU and Venezuela, but they won’t fly with Tehran. Why? Tune in to RT, for more on the unfolding drama.

In this episode of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect,’ Rick runs through the massive revelations that Zelensky’s former spokeswoman, Yulia Mendel, disclosed to Tucker Carlson. Almost every so-called conspiracy is said to be true. Mendel concedes that Zelensky’s drug use is an open secret. She insists that he pretends to be a teddy bear but, in fact, is an evil destroying his own people. The show’s second big topic is the US-Israeli war on Iran and India’s position on the conflict. Rick sits down with RT India news chief Runjhun Sharma to figure out what exactly is going on as the leadership of the world’s most populous country tells its people to consume less gasoline amid an energy crisis. Runjhun says India heavily relies on imports – 90% of Indian energy comes from abroad. That’s why, she explains, India has never rejected Russian supplies. Runjhun says that India is about to host a BRICS meeting with participation by the UAE and Iran – a perfect platform to fix problems. Also, Runjhun recently interviewed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and she brings some insights about this to Rick’s show.
An old Soviet joke had it that the economy has to be economical, and, in the same vein, intelligence needs to be intelligent. The collapse of the Soviet system showed that it was short on both but, in retrospect, it may have been a worthy, albeit very expensive, historical lesson in statehood. As one nation after another implodes from within or collapses under outside pressure, can security services still offer security to the people they are set to protect? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Rick Spence, Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Idaho.

Not only from Rick Sanchez but also Clayton Morris, who is the host of ‘Redacted’ on YouTube and a former prominent Fox News anchor. According to Shaurya India’s support to Russia during difficult times has reinforced its image as a dependable and loyal partner. Speaking on the Hormuz tensions, he warns that any prolonged disruption could have serious consequences for India’s economy and, eventually, its domestic politics. He also argues that very few global economies today can match India’s scale and speed of growth.

On the latest episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, we dive into how Trump promised ‘America First’ but ended up delivering the opposite. Rick and ‘Previously Prohibited’ podcast co-host Melissa Witte agree that under Trump, Americans got a glimpse of what could have been – only to have it snatched away. While Trump pledged no new wars, America’s ‘greatest ally’, Israel, had other plans. Melissa believes that the Trump administration’s mindset – shoot first and ask questions later – is a recipe for disaster. This belligerent logic could be used to justify any conflict, and suddenly Washington is looking at a potential war with the entire Muslim world! Let’s not forget another destructive path: Bad journalism. Rick tears into it with new examples – like the Western media spinning tales about Putin’s bunker, and a New York Times journalist urging Tucker Carlson to steer clear of certain questions. Spoiler alert: That’s not something Carlson will be doing. And neither shall we. Tune in to see Rick question more – only on RT.

In this episode of East Meets West, we sit down with veteran intelligence analyst Larry Johnson – to pull back the curtain on the strategic maneuvers currently shaping US foreign and domestic policy.

Why does the ‘Project Freedom’ initiative matter, and is it a genuine military objective or a legal loophole to bypass the War Powers Act? We dive deep into the tactical realities of the Strait of Hormuz, exploring why a conventional naval victory against Iran may be a military impossibility.

We also challenge the narrative on the recent security breach involving Donald Trump: Was this event a genuine threat or a meticulously orchestrated political narrative?

From Iran’s ‘Lego’ videos to the CIA increasingly relying on foreign intelligence, and from the ‘hollowing out’ of Ukraine to the utility of NATO as a ‘jobs program’ – we analyze the cracks in the current geopolitical order.

‘Merz is very far removed from the everyday problems of his people. He has broken all his electoral promises. He is making policies nobody voted for’ – Sevim Dagdelen, a spokesperson for German opposition party BSW.

Is Germany’s Chancellor Merz living in a parallel universe? Former long-time MP Sevim Dagdelen says it seems so. On the latest episode of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect’, Sevim pulls back the curtain on a government that promised fiscal restraint but delivered crippling debt.

The people are protesting. Are they being heard? Spoiler: No. Sevim calls out the ‘vassal’ relationship with the US. She asks, how else would you explain buying expensive resources from the US instead of cheap ones from Russia? She also denounces the supposed drama between Trump and Merz as mere pantomine: a vassal cannot truly fall out with his master.

As Berlin rings alarm bells about Russia, while preparing what it wants to become: Europe’s most powerful army, some are asking whether Merz, with the potential to lose power, is most threatened by peace itself.

Also, Rick breaks down the explosive return of the US war on Iran – mapping out the chaos. Catch the full episode on RT International or BitChute at RICKSANCHEZTV!

The anti-Trump crowd got another failed wanna-be assasin, the pro-Trump crowd is about to be tricked with the Baal-room bill for half-a-billion, and the Europeans have been stuck with a failing economy. While everyone is having it rough these days, the globohomo EU has come up with new features, like menage-a-trois familes, breast-wearing professors, and... just watch the show. With Russia and Iran out, and Türkiye and Saudi Arabia squarely in, the path forward appeared clear and unobstructed — that is, until the US-Israeli attack on Iran and its asymmetrical response threw the whole region off balance. Which road is Damascus likely to take next? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Ammar Kahf, Executive Director of the Omran Center for Strategic Studies.

In Israel young people are taught in school to use the anti-Semitism trick on any and all foreigners who criticize Israel. What is the anti-Semitism trick? Anytime anyone criticizes a Jewish person or Israeli policy, no matter what it is about, call them an anti-Semite! This strategy used to be quite powerful. But now, in the modern age of social media, it isn’t quite as effective, and in fact may be backfiring. On this episode of The Deep State, John Kiriakou is joined by podcaster, author, Christian apologist, and master debater Jay Dyer to discuss all of this and more. Tune in and check out part 2 of our 3 part series with Jay Dyer!

So, is there any sense of honoring democracy in the US, or is Congress just one big battleground between the Democrats and Republicans?
In this episode of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect’, Rick focuses on the US-Iran negotiation process mediated by Pakistan. And a perfect guest to talk about it is Pakistani journalist Nasim Zehra, a national security specialist. Rick says there’s a sense that Iran is apprehensive about the talks and conflict and the Pakistani journalist agrees. She adds the US hasn’t managed to defeat a country that’s been under sanctions and constant bombing for years, and this conflict is becoming more costly for Washington as it upsets allies, which Trump recognizes. Zehra advises the US president to rethink his cooperation with what she described as the Middle East’s destabilizing power – Israel. She says it’s the only country that disobeys international law to the discontent of a growing number of states.

‘The Americans did not have the authority in negotiations. Vance was constantly on the phone, made a dozen phone calls, including to Netanyahu’ – Tehran University Professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi.

In the latest episode of The Sanchez Effect, we chat with Professor Marandi, who shares his experience serving as part of Iran’s negotiating team. Marandi explains that Trump’s unpredictability complicates any talks with Washington: as long as he’s driven by his whims, negotiating seems pointless.

The professor is convinced the US president is being poorly advised by those around him. Trump needs to come to terms with the fact that Washington is losing in this conflict – which is no simple feat as long as the US continues to underestimate Iran’s retaliatory abilities and their control over the Strait of Hormuz. Marandi suggests the only way out for the US is to tally their losses and exit gracefully while claiming victory, a talent Trump has mastered. Otherwise, he warns, the Americans risk spiraling downwards, dragging the global economy with them.

Rick also delves into why Trump, unlike any president before him, succumbed to Israel’s war calls. Marandi is confident: ‘He is compromised’ – it’s all about the donor funds, which Trump has received plenty of.

And don’t miss Rick’s coverage of the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and how it all fits into Washington’s persistent struggle with gun violence. Catch all the shots fired at the US media – only on RT.

In this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, we look at the Iranian conflict from a purely economic standpoint. Today’s guest, a professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University, was just the person for this fascinating discussion. He says that Iran is winning the war geographically, at least while it has control over the vital Strait of Hormuz, while mocking US President Donald Trump’s decision to blockade Iranian ports, as it will cause the economic crisis to spread worldwide. The professor does not mince words, calling the embargo a ‘stupid thing to do’ as it is forcing more and more countries to pivot away from Uncle Sam while the blockade ignites a major economic recession across the globe. Mr. Hanke says that Trump has actually boxed himself into a corner, with no way out.
The latest episode of RT's Sanchez Effect delves into the lessons learned – or perhaps more accurately, unlearned – by the US in its war against Iran. Stanislav Krapivnik notes that for Washington, negotiations are off the table. It's all about flexing military might as the US tries to bully its way out of a war that is clearly not going in its favor.

Just look at the recent incidents in the Strait of Hormuz: while Iran was keeping things calm during the ceasefire, the US decided to ramp up tensions by attacking commercial ships, with civilians on board – arguably, war crimes.

What's the US endgame? Higher gas prices? Who exactly benefits from this chaos?

Rick and Stanislav agree that Israel seems to be calling the shots. With reports of the US vice president repeatedly making calls to the Israeli prime minister, it's clear that the Trump administration is operating like an asset for Israel. As Bibi himself put it, the Americans are ‘reporting to me,’ which suggests an eyebrow-raising level of subservience.

We also examine another conflict: Ukraine. Stanislav speaks in-depth about the battle for Sumy Region. After a winter slowdown, the Russians are back in action, and the fighting for Kupyansk rages on. What else is happening along the front lines? We break it all down with the latest developments.

As the US faces an AI-driven energy crisis and a lack of domestic enrichment capacity, is the uranium “heist” in Iran a matter of national survival? Was the mission to save a US pilot a cover-up to attack a uranium site?

We also analyze the “soft mutiny” within the US Navy, the internal factions vying for control of Washington’s foreign policy, and why the current military-industrial complex is structurally incapable of winning a long-term war.

In this episode of RT’s ‘Sanchez Effect’ Rick dives into the murky waters of EU politics. The new prime ministers of Hungary and Bulgaria are about to be chosen, and are already taking over headlines. Peter Magyar who is poised to lead Hungary has clashed with a TV presenter, saying he will cut state funding for news agencies. Lubos Blaha, the Slovak MEP joining Rick in the studio, says it’s fine to attack the free press in an EU friendly government. Blaha notes this hypocrisy extends beyond the world of media, as Western countries who plundered and destroyed nations across the globe take shots at Russia and China. Rick takes it further, saying Russia’s internal politics outpace the West in terms of democracy: ‘If you want to find the KGB, go to London’.
After a short vacation Rick is back and bringing the Sanchez Effect to Minsk, where he sat down for an exclusive interview with one of the most famous Post-Soviet leaders, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus. Despite being a firm Russian ally, Belarus has announced a ‘big deal’ with US President Donald Trump. Lukashenko assured Rick that he is no Vladimir Zelensky, and doesn’t plan to beg Washington for money and arms.

Lukashenko wants the potential deal to be mutually beneficial and a possible stepping stone towards warm relations between Russia and the US. This goal puts Minks at odds with Europe, which would gladly topple the Belarusian leadership, according to Lukashenko.

Responding to Donald Trump’s remarks that Cuba could be targeted next after Venezuela and Iran, he asserts that Cuba remains an obstacle to American dominance in the region and that Cubans are prepared to face any military aggression and defend their sovereignty.

On global alliances, the ambassador underscores the importance of Russia and China to the island nation, recalling Russia’s critical oil delivery after a severe three-month shortage, a gesture for which, he says, Cubans felt deep gratitude toward the Russian people.

We analyze the breakdown of diplomacy between US Vice President J.D. Vance and the Iranian delegation. Is the US strategy a calculated move for regional dominance, or a sign of diminishing diplomatic options? We look into the reality of the Strait of Hormuz crisis and the ‘information war’ that is shifting global perceptions of power.
