Closer to home: The US is repositioning Reaper drones from Africa to South America

While the war continues in the Middle East and the costs keep mounting, the US military appears to be shifting assets to another part of the world: South America. The US is reportedly expected to move MQ-9 Reaper drones currently operating over Africa to the area responsible of US Southern Command.
