‘Vostok’ Battalion Brotherhood

The documentary shows a few days in the lives of fighters who have been defending Donbass and its people for more than nine years. ‘Vostok’ Battalion fighters are used to intense gunfire and mortar attacks, facing this every day they go to work on the front line. One of the fighters, codename Syava, wishes that he could spend some time with his family or just spend a couple of days in a place where ordinary people walk, smile, and enjoy life. However, Syava confesses that he cannot afford to leave the front lines as the lives of Donbass civilians depend on the job that ‘Vostok’ fighters do every day.
