Leningrad Unbreakable

The years of the Nazi siege of Leningrad, during which approximately 50,000 people perished from starvation each month, were the most harrowing of World War II. Despite enduring hunger and relentless bombardment, the city’s residents never stopped donating blood to support injured frontline soldiers, and continued to work in tanks and weapons factories. The residents of the besieged Leningrad, though weary and exhausted, understood the critical role their efforts were playing in aiding the Soviet Army against the Nazis. Watch the documentary to witness the courage and unwavering strength of Leningrad citizens in their struggle for liberation.
